Magical Weirdo Digital Marketing
Authority Site:
In today’s age, your standard website does not convert traffic into leads nor does it optimally rank on Google for SEO. They’re slow, clunky, lack a customer journey, and really only provide information as opposed to clear action steps. They do their part from a branding perspective but for businesses like Magical Weirdo, who focus on direct response marketing, needs higher conversions, and more opportunity volume now, an un-optimizeable, low-converting, general website just isn’t going to cut it.
The entire website experience needed to be recreated and redesigned to fix the downfalls of a typical website while still optimizing for SEO and branding.
Introducing the Authority Site:
This site can be classified as a “hybrid site.” It looks like a website in the sense that it has a lot of information about the company, on the different products offered, information about their flagship program, and a bio from their head coach, Chuck.
Chuck’s niche is appealing to what he calls, “weird business owners” - people like himself who beat to a different drum; that don’t fit within the confines of what society tells them to be. So, while collaborating with Chuck on this authority build, we (DropFunnels) really wanted to showcase the uniqueness, love, compassion, and personality that Chuck brings to the table.
Color palette was critical here. We wanted things to “pop!” It was important for the design to be fun, fluid, and showcase that quirky personality that Chuck has without sacrificing the purpose of the site - to drive more traffic, optimize on Google, and convert at a higher percentage for his ideal market.
Website VS. Authority Site:
The main difference in an authority site is though it looks like a website, it acts like a sales funnel. You’ll notice no links to separate pages. There’s no “contact, pricing, or about” buttons that deviate from this main page. It’s all on one fast loading, hyper-focused, SEO optimized page!
This prevents potential leads from beginning to read about a service, getting distracted with a different button, clicking it, then ultimately leaving the website - such is the case for most websites, hence why they do such a poor job at turning traffic into paying business.
The sales funnel approach gives the visitor all of that same information but on a single page (no clicking around) and provides a single, clear, and persuasive call to action to turn traffic into leads.
Since the authority site acts like a funnel from a copy perspective, the information is written with persuasiveness to inspire action as opposed to just information slapped on a page. However, since the wiring of the page is built like a website, everything on an authority site can be SEO optimized using DropFunnels’ powerful SEO capabilities.

Blog Development
Chuck wanted Magical Weirdo to have a blog - something he could build into a long term lead generation source through SEO and Google rankings.
One of the most powerful tools a business can use to grow is SEO. Magical Weirdo wanted to really begin pushing their SEO capabilities, which is partially why they wanted to use DropFunnels to house their blog. DropFunnels has some of the most powerful SEO tools for blogs and websites out of any platform on the internet.
DropFunnels was contracted to do a full blog development project to elevate their blogging experience, organize their content, increase searches within their site, increase read time, and optimize their SEO capabilities. Specifically, this project included…
1. Blog theme - the central design, function, and flow of the blog across all pages. This includes the wireframe of the blog, the color palette, strategy around the readers’ user experience, and page layout.
2. Blog archive - the archive page for readers to explore other content. This page is discretely vital for a great blog. It keeps readers engaged with new content, showcases a sense of organization, and relates a sense of understanding that the writer knows how the reader likes to explore their blog.
3. Blog template - the design and wireframe for each blog article, removing the need for repetitive editing. Nobody wants to edit each blog article to be on brand with the others. That’s why DropFunnels built a blog template. Every blog article created will replicate that same wireframe, eliminating unnecessary editing. This gives the reader a sense of congruency when going from article to article. Branding, function, and design congruency also is critical to get the blog to rank high on Google.
