Critical notes:
Types Of Businesses Using DF
Brand New To Business
If they’re brand new to business, they almost always have these three pressing challenges:
If they don’t have an offer, service, or product to sell - that essentially means they don’t have a business but want one. The best thing you can do here is suggest for them to join the Certification Program & send them to the sales page for that offer: dropfunnels.com/certification
If you find that they have an offer but no funnels, leads, or sales OR they have those things but it’s clearly not working, then you can steer the conversation towards a DFY collaboration to help them begin becoming profitable online.
In Business But Not Successful
This is a dangerous situation to be in from a SaaS perspective. These types of clients have the greatest potential BUT also have the greatest risk of joining a platform, continuing to struggle, blame the software for not fixing it, then cancelling.
The most important thing for this person is to get them winning. By winning, it’ll ensure they stay on the platform, which is our primary goal, & it gives a Certified Partner the opportunity to sell DFY services to ensure their success.
These types of individuals largely are dealing with these kind of issues:
By identifying what the challenge is specifically, you’ll be able to offer them a roadmap to success using your services combined with DF as the primary platform to succeed with.
In Business AND Successful
This is a winning company looking for scalability, simplifying processes, adding revenue streams, scaling traffic, or some variation of growth-based goals. This is the type of buyer we want on the platform by either advertising straight to them OR turning the “newbie” or the “struggling entrepreneur” into these people.
That essentially is the DropFunnels mission - to turn all users into a thriving, successful, & wildly profitable business.
If a business is in this category, they generally fall within these main challenges:
Any one of these challenges is a very lucrative opportunity for a Certified Partner. Selling high-level strategy, DFY builds, marketing services, system integration, sales tools (WooSender or connecting them to a setter/closer team), etc. are just a few offers one could make.
To keep this person on the platform, they need to experience momentum & a shift in progress.
Universally Across ALL Types Of Businesses
Universally, whether someone is very new or extremely established, there are situations where they come to DF with all of their content on a different platform. Those platforms could be (but aren’t limited to) Kajabi, Thinktific, ClickFunnels, SamCart, Kartra, & WordPress.
They may be coming to DF for a variety of reasons but some of the more popular ones are:
This person may want to migrate all (or a portion) of what they built on a different platform over to DF. This can be an offer you provide them where you migrate that content over on their behalf so they don’t spend the time, money, energy trying to do it themselves.
It also establishes potential work in the future. If you migrate their content & notice that it isn’t very good. Perhaps there is room for improvement to increase optimization or revenue - a Certified Partner could offer a DFY build, ad management, ect. to help this person.
The DIYers
There are a lot of DIYers that join SaaS platforms. DF is no different. You may get your fair share of individuals who either can’t (or won’t) identify these challenges with you & only want to “tinker away.” OR, they do identify these challenges but have the notion (often mis notion) that they can/should do it themselves or that the challenges aren’t that big of a deal.
This is a very dangerous position for a DF user to put themselves in because often what can happen is they downplay the problem, up-play their ability to solve the problem, realize they’re in-over-their-head, fail, & quit the platform.
Follow-up will be critical here. Remember, our primary mission is to keep people on the platform. If this individual fails to successfully kickstart their experience on DF, the chances of them sticking around long-term go way down.
So, for DIYers who are hell-bent on solving all of their own problems, it’ll be crucial for you to provide resources, support, follow up with them, & if appropriate - re-offer to help them with a custom offer specifically for their problem.
Follow-Up
Regardless of what additional services you collaborate on with our users OR even if none at all, follow-up will be critical to maximizing your revenue from the leads given to you AND to maximize the stick rate of users on the platform.
If you collaborate with a user, look for ways to offer more services to them. Whether that could be implemented now or later, always circle back to past customers to see how you can help them.
If you don’t collaborate with a lead, circle back to see if anything has changed, if they’ve reconsidered, if they’re struggling, & identify the best course of action for them to finally succeed.
How DF Can Support You On DFY Builds
We’re happy to partner with you to support your DFY builds with our users. If you’d prefer to do the work yourself, you can. However, if you want to step out of the “freelance model,” & step into running an agency or business that gives you freedom - you’ll then want to off-load DFY builds or migrations to outside help.
Instead of hiring other freelancers who you may not know, may not have the skills necessary, & may produce risky results, you’re welcome to hire DF as your fulfillment partner. DF obviously knows how to quickly perform these tasks at a very high standard so for a custom fee (obviously less than what you charged the client for the job), we’d be happy to fulfill for you so you can step further out of doing the work in your business.
