Welcome to DropFunnels!
We're excited to have you on board.
If you are just starting with DropFunnels, this page contains all the essential information to help you build your first funnel!
Funnels can be used to collect leads, sell products, promote webinars and more.
They consist of two or more steps, and guide your visitor through the process to your intended goal.
In our example, we'll build out a sales funnel to collect leads and sell a product.
1. Create Your Landing Page
First up, we'll need somewhere to collect leads. We call this a Landing Page. A Landing Page usually consists of a headline an optin form, and some more information about your product.
Remember, the goal of this page is to collect the leads' email address.
Action Steps:
Navigate to Funnels:
Click on the "Funnels" tab in your DropFunnels dashboard.
Start a New Funnel:
Click on the "Add Funnel" button.
Choose a Lead Gen Template:
Select a template from our template library
Customize the Page:
Update the content and design of the page to match your offer and branding.

2. Create Your Sales Page

If leads have entered their email, they're proving that they are interested in what you have to say! Now it's time to take advantage of that and really sell them your offer.
Again, keep the goal of the page in mind.
Sales pages start with an attention grabbing headline, whilst also including all of the content needed to sell your offer. This should include details of your offer, social proof (testimonials) and an FAQ.
Action Steps:
Add Your Sales Page to Your Funnel:
Click 'Add Funnel Step' on the Funnel Flow tab of your funnel and select a sales page template from the Sales Pages tab.
Customize the Page:
Update the content and design of the page to match your offer and branding
3. Create Your Checkout Page
Now we've convinced your lead to buy your offer, we need somewhere for them to purchase!
We'll do this on the next step, which we call a Checkout Page.
A Checkout Page requires a checkout form where your leads can submit their payment information.
Action Steps:
Add Your Checkout Page to Your Funnel:
Click 'Add Funnel Step' on the Funnel Flow tab of your funnel and select a sales page template from the Checkout Pages tab.
Customize the Page:
Update the content and design of the page to match your offer and branding

4. Create Your Thank-You Page

We'll also need somewhere for them to go upon completing their purchase. We call this a Thank-You Page.
This page will contain their order reciept, and instructions on how they can access their purchase.
These pages require less content than the Sales Page, but should reinforce their buying decision.
Action Steps:
Add Your Thank-You Page to Your Funnel:
Click 'Add Funnel Step' on the Funnel Flow tab of your funnel and select a sales page template from the Thank You Pages tab.
Customize the Page:
Update the content and design of the page to match your offer and branding. Remember to include an Order Receipt and details on accessing their purchase.
5. Connect Your Payment Gateway
Great - you've built out your funnel!
However, there are a couple more steps before we can share it with the world!
In order to collect payments, you'll need to integrate with a payment gateway. The most commonly used one is Stripe, but you can also use PayPal, NMI or Auth.net.
Action Steps:
Navigate to Payment Gateways
From your dashboard, expand the Funnels menu and click on Payment Gateways.
Connect Your Account / Enter your API Keys:
If you're using Stripe, you can connect using our OAuth app. Or, for other payment providers, simply enter your API keys. Remember to save your settings.

6. Create a Product

Next, you need to create our product. We'll connect it to your funnel in the next section.
Action Steps:
Navigate to Products:
From your dashboard, expand the Funnels menu and click on Products.
Add a New Product:
Click on the "Create New Product" button and enter the Product name.
Fill in the Product Details Tab:
Provide product details like name, price, currency, payment type, and description.
Fill in the Product Delivery Tab:
This info will show on the customer email receipt and on the order confirmation page. If applicable, upload any digital files associated with your product. Connect your auto-responder and pipeline.
7. Connect your Product to your Funnel
Finally, it's time to connect your new product to your funnel!
We'll do this from the Checkout page you created earlier.
Action Steps:
Open Your Funnel:
After creating your product, go to the funnel where you want to add it and click on the Checkout step.
Access the Product Settings:
Click on the Checkout form and select the Products tab.
Select Your Product:
Choose the product you created from the dropdown menu and click ‘Save’.

Congratulations!
And that's it! You've created your first funnel!
